colored pencil on Canson pastel paper 14" x 11 Sold
The inspiration for this work comes from the promise of life as the little fairy sits vigil over a nest of robin eggs. The use of colored pencil on pastel paper serves well to bring out the vibrant, yet soothing colors of springtime that emerge following the browns of winter. Spring Fairy is second in a series of seasonal fairies. She will also be featured in an illustrated children's book that is planned for this year. Available as original, as well as open edition 11 x 14" giclee print on canvas or velvet fine paper. Please contact artist for details.
